Having lived in
London since 1945, I moved to Lincolnshire with my family in 1979 to take
up a teaching job in Nottingham. Corby Glen was then a very ordinary village,
some council housing and a few in-fill modern houses around older property
in the centre. Except for the one in colour, all photographs were taken between
1980 & 83 before the village more than doubled in size with three new
estates.
