The 33rd Annual Rockers Reunion Winter Party

Willie and Ian are pleased to announce that the 33rd Rockers Reunion piss up will take place at Rivermead Leisure Complex, Richfield Avenue, Reading on:

Saturday 23rd January 2016 from 5pm to 1am

So many people have requested that we book Joe Clay for Rockers Reunion that we are wondering why we did not do it years ago. He is an explosive performer with a locker full of classic songs like 'Ducktail', 'Get On The Right Track', 'Crackerjack' and 'Sixteen Chicks'. You will not want to miss him.

Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers save their finest performances for Rockers Reunion where they remain as popular as ever. They will close our show once again.

The Rapiers last appeared at Rockers Reunion 18 which is too long to wait to see such a popular band who are surely today's leading exponents of the Rock and Roll sound.

We like things to get a little bit crazy at some stage in the evening and this year it will go completely nuts when the French band The Spunyboys hit the stage. You will never have seen anything like them.

Our opening bands are each making their Rockers Reunion debut. They come highly recommended. Suffolk band Shane and the Korrados perform an Elvis styled act while Vintage from Cheam in Surrey are a young three piece with a big future.

The resident DJs will be Pete Bruce and Wild Cat Pete.

MCs for the evening are Stu Wild Wax and Steve Stack Of Wax.

All your favourite stalls will be in attendance, so if you need Fifties clothes, DVD's, records, tee shirts, badges or even a new tattoo, there will be plenty to keep you occupied. Our friends from the 59 Club will be in their usual spot near to the bar!

Tickets are now on sale at £26 in advance or £30 if purchased on the day of the event. We strongly advise you to secure your tickets quickly to avoid disappointment. Cheques or postal orders should be made out to Dixie Fried Music and sent with a stamped self-addressed envelope to:-

Or at any rock 'n' roll venue from Wild Cat Pete 01494 672605.

PLEASE NOTE - Tickets bought after Wednesday the 20th will be held for collection on the door. There will be no advance sales after 5pm on Friday the 22nd - but tickets will still be available on the door for £30.

Band and stall enquiries should directed to Wild Willie Jeffery or Varick Jeffery on 01883 714289.

To quote Tennessee Ernie Ford's 1956 hit record, 'Sixteen Tons', we are 'another year older and deeper in debt'. However despite all the problems of this changing world, there is still one evening of the year when you know you can put aside all your troubles and enjoy a fabulous evening of rock and roll music, plus barrels of real ale and fine conversation with friends old and new.

This is the original and official Rockers Reunion and Reading remains the place to be on 23rd January because you will not want to miss...
